Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Lead incident response efforts, conducting forensic analysis and root cause investigations.
- Design and implement security controls to defend against advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or GCIH is highly required.
- 5+ years of experience in information security, incident response, or threat intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and security architectures.
- Proficiency in Python or scripting languages for automation and threat hunting.
