As a Data Analyst at Apex Analytics, you will be the bridge between our data and our decision-makers. You will manage complex datasets, build insightful dashboards, and provide strategic recommendations that drive growth. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to collaborate with a diverse team from the comfort of your home office.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and deliver accurate reports.
- Perform rigorous data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to validate hypotheses and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Document data processes and methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data from relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
- Strong command of Excel and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills to thrive in a remote setting.
