Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write optimized SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases and perform complex joins.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports that translate technical findings into business recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Strong command of BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive meaningful insights from unstructured data.
