Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Reporting & Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- SQL & Data Mining: Write complex SQL queries and utilize Python/R scripts to automate data extraction processes.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in existing reporting processes and propose automated solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a remote or hybrid environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with Excel (Advanced functions, VLOOKUP) and cloud data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Location: Must be located within the Portland, OR metropolitan area (for local collaboration requirements).
