This critical role will drive our cloud infrastructure modernization while supporting our Virginia Beach-based clients. Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS/GCP services
- Manage container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Optimize cloud environments for security, performance, and cost-efficiency
- Lead incident response and system monitoring initiatives
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes
- Document architecture decisions and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps
- Expertise in AWS/GCP with certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and configuration management
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
