Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Terraform
- Enhance security protocols including IAM policies and network firewalls
- Monitor system performance with Prometheus/Grafana and troubleshoot incidents
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment processes
- Lead container orchestration projects using Kubernetes and Docker
- Document infrastructure architecture and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Kubernetes and container orchestration experience required
- Security-first approach to infrastructure design
- Proven incident response and disaster recovery implementation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- El Paso residency or willingness to relocate preferred
