Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through monitoring tools like Datadog
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies and VPC configurations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve system reliability
- Lead infrastructure migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments
- Document architecture decisions and create runbooks for critical systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles with AWS certification (SAA/SAP preferred)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote settings
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
