Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for microservices architecture using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
- Automate deployment processes and ensure 99.99% system uptime through proactive monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Lead security and compliance initiatives including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain engineering excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
- Expert proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation
- Certifications in AWS/GCP or Terraform highly preferred
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
