Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
- Manage AWS/GCP infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through monitoring and automation
- Lead container orchestration initiatives using Kubernetes and Docker
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams to accelerate deployments
- Implement robust security practices and compliance frameworks
- Document architecture and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Kubernetes and container orchestration proficiency
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
- Security-first mindset with compliance awareness (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated with proven remote work experience
