Nexus Digital is a fast-growing technology leader based in Austin, TX, seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for an immediate hire position. We are a fully remote-first organization looking for a technical expert to lead our UI initiatives and drive product excellence.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering, ensuring our products are not only beautiful but robust and scalable. You will work with a world-class team to deliver high-impact solutions for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly scalable, responsive, and performant front-end web applications using modern frameworks like React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to translate wireframes and prototypes into high-quality, pixel-perfect code.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, provide technical mentorship to junior developers, and enforce best practices for maintainability and security.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices and browsers.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio of deployed applications.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API) and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous data handling.
