Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern web technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define features and ensure technical feasibility.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance and optimize code to ensure fast load times and seamless user experiences.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshooting: Debug complex issues and provide timely technical support for production environments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, specifically in full-stack web development.
- Technologies: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, and HTML5/CSS3.
- Backend: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and backend architecture.
- Git: Expert level proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must reside within the United States (specifically Jacksonville, FL area for tax/business compliance).
