Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Python).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Kansas City and remote locations to define product requirements and technical solutions.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless experience for users across the US.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Proactively troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, or similar).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, flexible-hour setting.
