About the Role
In this role, you will lead the development of scalable web applications, mentor junior developers, and ensure code quality across the board. This is a critical position as we are expanding our engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using React, Node.js, and cloud technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the development team.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in production and staging environments.
- Conduct technical research to evaluate new technologies and frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate effectively via Slack/Zoom.
