Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Node.js, React, and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters handling 10M+ daily transactions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design reviews
- Translate complex maritime logistics requirements into elegant technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent OceanTech at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years of full-stack development experience with React and Node.js
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP) and serverless computing
- Proven track record of shipping high-traffic applications (>1M users)
- Strong background in database optimization and distributed systems
- CI/CD pipeline automation experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex full-stack projects
