Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js).
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and security.
- Optimize application performance and ensure seamless user experiences across all devices.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services effectively.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM usage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote, asynchronous work environment.
- Must reside in or be willing to work remotely from the Chicago, IL area.
