Responsibilities
- Architect cloud-native microservices using Node.js, Python, and AWS
- Lead React/Angular front-end development with responsive design principles
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes orchestration
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching strategies
- Drive agile sprints using Jira and Confluence
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech blog content
Qualifications
- 5+ years full-stack development experience with JavaScript/Python
- Expertise in React, Node.js, and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP)
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable SaaS applications
- Experience mentoring cross-functional remote teams
- Ability to work in EST timezone with occasional Detroit syncs
