Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Ready Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, high-performance technology architectures that anticipate market trends and technological shifts through 2026.
- Strategic Technology Roadmap: Lead the technical vision for Horizon 2026 Labs, identifying emerging tech stacks (such as advanced AI integration and quantum-ready protocols) and integrating them into our core infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate complex business goals into robust technical solutions.
- Code Quality & Performance: Establish rigorous standards for code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure zero downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the engineering department.
- Security & Compliance: Spearhead initiatives to ensure all systems adhere to the highest security protocols, anticipating future regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architectural role.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with deep experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Future-Forward Skills: Strong understanding of AI/ML integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges with innovative, long-term solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
