Responsibilities
- Architect and implement forward-looking technology roadmaps spanning quantum computing, biometric interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including neural-adjacent AI and climate-responsive infrastructure
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies
- Develop ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring alignment with UN SDGs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and congressional committees
- Mentor cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and scenario planning methodologies
- Secure federal and private funding for breakthrough innovation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in developing commercial applications for emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum machine learning, neuro-interfaces, climate tech, or ethical AI
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Demonstrated ability to secure $5M+ in R&D funding through federal grants and private investment
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on future technology impacts
