Responsibilities
- Develop predictive frameworks for 2026 technology adoption across AI, biotech, and renewable energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype next-gen systems including quantum-resistant cryptography and neural interfaces
- Produce strategic white papers for C-suite executives on emerging tech disruption patterns
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for collaborative research initiatives
- Design ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Present future-state scenarios to global policymakers at Davos and WEF summits
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodology and trend analysis
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of tech forecasting experience
- Published research in Nature or Science on exponential technology trends (2018-2023)
- Expertise in scenario planning using Delphi method and Monte Carlo simulations
- Track record of implementing commercialized tech innovations valued at $50M+
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing simulation platforms
- Deep understanding of technological singularity implications and ethical AI development
- Security clearance eligibility for national technology strategy consultations
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
