Responsibilities
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, biocomputing) and map to product roadmaps
- Design and prototype scalable architectures for 2026-era systems using Python, Rust, and quantum simulators
- Partner with product teams to translate future-state visions into technical specifications
- Develop patent-pending algorithms for predictive modeling of technological convergence points
- Mentor junior engineers in future-proof coding practices and adaptive system design
- Present findings to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ in R&D or futures-focused roles
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, distributed systems, and low-latency architectures
- Published research in IEEE journals or equivalent tech publications
- Proficiency in future simulation tools (AnyLogic, GAMA) and scenario planning methodologies
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 future-tech prototypes deployed at scale
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
