Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and translate insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders across 15+ countries
- Manage a $5M R&D portfolio for emerging technology prototyping
- Author quarterly foresight reports distributed to Fortune 500 partners
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global foresight network
- Represent FutureWorks at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals
- Fluency in English with multilingual capabilities preferred
