Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches on emerging paradigms
- Drive cultural transformation by embedding future-thinking methodologies across departments
- Manage R&D partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Quantify innovation ROI through KPIs and predictive modeling
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Published author or recognized thought leader in innovation/futurism
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
