Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends, technologies, and disruptions affecting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making
- Translate foresight research into actionable innovation roadmaps and product development strategies
- Collaborate with executive leadership to embed future-thinking into corporate strategy
- Present complex foresight findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward adaptive innovation and long-term thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating completed foresight projects or published research
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
