Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting our industry through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, including scenario planning and roadmapping
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to embed future insights into product development cycles
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to align organizational capabilities with future opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, or sustainable systems
- Exceptional analytical and storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field preferred
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems and futurist communities
