Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3 domains
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and technology adoption roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Drive R&D initiatives for breakthrough technologies with $10M+ annual budget oversight
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic concepts into commercial offerings
- Present visionary insights to investors, clients, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation culture
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology forecasting and commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least three frontier tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in tech or consulting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into business strategy
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation management
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
