The Role
As a Senior IT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Oversee system performance monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and assets.
- Lead major IT projects, including system migrations and software upgrades, from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to manage IT contracts and service level agreements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the broader team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT engineering or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
