As a key member of our IT team, you will act as a technical evangelist, providing top-tier support to a distributed team while maintaining the highest standards of security and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues via remote channels.
- Manage the end-to-end provisioning process for new remote employees, including the setup of laptops, external monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
- Configure and maintain Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and remote access tools to ensure secure connectivity.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and enforce security protocols for remote environments.
- Document all technical incidents and resolutions in our IT Service Management (ITSM) system to maintain a knowledge base.
- Conduct regular check-ins with staff to proactively identify and resolve technical blockers.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on remote diagnosis and resolution.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with strong communication skills.
