Job Description
The Future is Now. At The 2026 Initiative, we are not just predicting the future; we are building the infrastructure for it. We are at the forefront of merging Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) with next-generation Quantum Computing. We are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum AI Architect to lead our technical strategy and design the algorithms that will redefine human-machine interaction in the decade ahead.
Why Join Us?
We offer a unique opportunity to work on projects that have a tangible impact on the trajectory of technology. Our team is composed of world-class researchers and engineers dedicated to solving the most complex challenges in computational theory and applied AI.
What You Will Do:
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical quantum physics and practical software engineering. You will architect scalable systems that leverage the unique capabilities of quantum processors to solve problems currently deemed impossible for classical computers.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define the high-level architecture for hybrid quantum-classical systems and lead the technical vision for the 2026 platform.
- Algorithm Development: Design and optimize quantum algorithms for machine learning tasks, focusing on speed, accuracy, and resource efficiency.
- System Integration: Integrate quantum processing units (QPUs) with classical cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to create seamless, scalable APIs.
- Research & Prototyping: Conduct in-depth research into emerging quantum computing paradigms and prototype cutting-edge solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate complex research into deployable products.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of specialized experience in quantum computing or advanced AI architectures.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#).
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience deploying and managing AI workloads on major cloud platforms.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle ambiguous problems and devise innovative solutions in unstructured environments.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
