Your Mission
As part of Project 2026, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering, ensuring our quantum systems are ready for enterprise deployment in the near future.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning tasks.
- Develop error mitigation and error correction protocols for noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coupling and coherence times.
- Translate complex physics concepts into scalable software architectures.
- Conduct research on quantum complexity theory and its implications for cryptography.
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and contribute to white papers on the future of quantum computing.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in programming (Python, C++, or Rust).
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra and probability theory.
- Proven track record of publishing research in top-tier conferences (e.g., APS, IEEE, NeurIPS).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact research environment.
