Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for real-world cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems in production environments
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate implementations
- Present research findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum complexity theory
- Secure patents for novel quantum-resistant encryption methods
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning models
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Published research in Nature Quantum Information or IEEE Transactions
- Experience with quantum error mitigation techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain DoD clearance
