Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, optimization, and material science
- Develop error correction protocols to advance quantum coherence beyond current industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing and fault-tolerant architectures
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining rigorous documentation of quantum system designs
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives and publish breakthrough research
- Optimize quantum circuit performance for hybrid classical-quantum workflows
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms with real-world implementations
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
