Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-fidelity quantum algorithms for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices and fault-tolerant architectures.
- Optimize quantum circuits and code to maximize qubit coherence and minimize error rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum components into larger software ecosystems.
- Conduct research into quantum machine learning and optimization techniques.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for our 2026 product launch.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on algorithm development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil, or Project Q).
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, complex numbers, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
