Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum error correction codes tailored for superconducting and trapped-ion hardware.
- Develop high-level quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems used by Fortune 500 clients.
- Bridge the gap between abstract quantum mechanics and practical software engineering, ensuring seamless integration with classical control systems.
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions to ensure system robustness and scalability.
- Conduct research on novel quantum architectures to improve qubit coherence times and gate fidelity.
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for 2027 and beyond.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quantum computing, quantum information theory, or high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Qiskit.
- Deep understanding of quantum gates, superposition, and entanglement concepts.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Google Cirq, or Rigetti).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
