Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat interactions across multiple platforms, enforcing community guidelines with precision
- Investigate and resolve complex user disputes, harassment reports, and policy violations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop moderation strategies and update protocols
- Analyze chat trends and provide actionable insights to improve user experience
- Train junior moderators on best practices and moderation tools
- Document incidents and generate detailed reports for stakeholders
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call coverage as scheduled
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional chat moderation experience in high-volume environments
- Expertise in conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and crisis management
- Proficiency with moderation tools (e.g., Khoros, ModSquad, Discord) and CRM systems
- Exceptional written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in remote teams
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, social media dynamics, and online communities
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Psychology, or related field preferred
