Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Node.js and AWS
- Lead API development for high-transaction payment processing systems
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, Redis) for 99.99% uptime
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain 100% test coverage
- Stay current with fintech compliance regulations (PCI-DSS, SOC2)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Node.js)
- Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in building RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex full-stack projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
