Role Overview
As a Senior Remote Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable software applications using modern technologies (React, Node.js, Python).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with a focus on remote usability.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish technical best practices for the team.
- Identify, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in existing codebases efficiently.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, utilizing remote collaboration tools.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to company standards.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on web technologies.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Demonstrated experience working successfully in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
