What You Will Do
As a Senior Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our technical strategy, ensuring our products are not only functional but exceptional.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Python).
- Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to ensure technical excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability in a distributed environment.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of software design patterns and system architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed team.
- Must be located in the Kansas City, Missouri area or willing to commute to our HQ.
