Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with company KPIs and business objectives.
- Conduct deep technical SEO audits and implement fixes to improve site speed, crawlability, and indexation.
- Lead keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
- Manage on-page and off-page optimization efforts, including meta tags, schema markup, and link building.
- Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-optimized assets that engage users and boost rankings.
- Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics and Search Console; report on progress and ROI.
- Stay updated on algorithm updates and industry trends to keep our strategies ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong portfolio demonstrating measurable results.
- Deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is highly preferred.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Must be based in San Jose, CA (Hybrid/Remote eligible).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.
