Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings for key client and company products.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
- Optimize on-page content, meta tags, and site architecture for maximum search engine visibility.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on website traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics using Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Collaborate with the web development and content teams to implement technical SEO improvements.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
- Build high-quality backlinks through outreach and relationship management.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a remote or distributed work environment.
- Strong proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEO audit tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Deep understanding of technical SEO principles, including site speed, mobile optimization, and structured data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Located in Raleigh, NC, or willing to relocate to the area for regular team syncs.
