The Opportunity:
As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and content strategy. You will be responsible for optimizing our client portfolios to dominate search engine rankings and drive qualified organic traffic. You will work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with a team of world-class developers and marketers.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify crawl errors, site speed bottlenecks, and indexability issues.
- Develop and execute high-level link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and backlink profiles.
- Manage and optimize Google Search Console and Analytics 4 to track performance metrics and ROI.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to implement Schema markup and optimize Core Web Vitals.
- Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates (e.g., Helpful Content, Core Updates) and adapt strategies accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep-dive technical SEO audits using advanced tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Optimize site architecture, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt files to ensure efficient crawling and indexing.
- Drive organic traffic growth through rigorous keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Implement structured data (JSON-LD) to enhance rich snippets and search appearances.
- Monitor site health, fix broken links, and improve page load speeds for better user retention.
- Present complex SEO insights and quarterly reports to stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong focus on Technical SEO.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for on-page optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Google Search Central guidelines and algorithm updates.
- Experience with analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
