Apex Decentralized Labs is pioneering the next era of financial infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to lead the development of our core Layer 2 protocol.
In this role, you will move beyond simple DeFi implementations to build complex, high-throughput systems that redefine scalability. You will work directly with our CTO and core architects in our dynamic San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
- Design and audit secure, gas-optimized smart contracts in Solidity and Rust.
- Lead architectural decisions for our cross-chain bridge infrastructure.
- Implement rigorous testing suites using Foundry and Hardhat.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver seamless wallet integrations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in Web3.
- Deep proficiency in Solidity and Rust.
- Experience with EIP-1559 and Layer 2 scaling solutions.
- Strong understanding of cryptographic hashing and consensus algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
