Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and secure software solutions using modern technologies and best practices.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high quality and adherence to security protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define feature requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Problem Solving: Identify complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions to drive product success and user satisfaction.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Testing & Deployment: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, CI/CD pipeline integration, and deployment to production environments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or Python. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Candidates based in Philadelphia, PA or North Carolina are encouraged to apply.
- Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results without direct supervision.
