Responsibilities
- Architect scalable microservices using AWS/GCP and containerization technologies
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.9% uptime and zero-downtime deployments
- Lead end-to-end feature development from ideation to production rollout
- Implement robust security protocols for distributed systems
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud-native development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Node.js with strong algorithm fundamentals
- Proven track record of leading projects from conception to production
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Strong background in building RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- CS degree or equivalent practical experience required
