Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend services using Node.js and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Lead the development of RESTful APIs and microservices
- Optimize database queries and system performance for scalability
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and TDD practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure as code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
