Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain application health during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime for our clients.
- Critical Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical bugs and performance bottlenecks in real-time.
- Code Optimization: Refactor legacy codebases and optimize database queries to improve speed and scalability.
- Deployment Management: Execute night-time deployments, rollbacks, and automated testing pipelines.
- Security Audits: Conduct rigorous security reviews and patch management to protect sensitive user data.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks for the support team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, and SQL databases.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work the night shift (e.g., 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM PST).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering robust solutions under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
