Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications using modern frameworks and languages (e.g., Python, React, Node.js).
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to define features and ensure technical feasibility.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain code quality standards.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt to ensure system reliability and responsiveness.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance our product offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) and experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, RESTful APIs, and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (or the willingness to undergo the process).
