Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Python/Node.js on AWS
- Lead code reviews and drive DevOps best practices
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Collaborate with product teams using JIRA and Confluence
Qualifications
- 5+ years in backend development with Python/Node.js
- Expertise in AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Agile/Scrum certification preferred
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ production-scale projects
- Excellent remote collaboration skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
