Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions tailored to client needs.
- Code Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in our remote Raleigh-based team.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement robust fixes to minimize downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve system efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (React.js preferred).
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms and containerization tools like Docker.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable collaborating in a remote environment.
- Agile: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
