Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust, scalable software solutions using modern technologies.
- Lead code reviews, provide technical mentorship to junior developers, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, ensure security best practices, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or Java) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to the San Antonio, TX area for on-site collaboration.
