Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Python and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high code quality
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps practices
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Drive technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Python, Django/Flask, and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Proven track record of shipping production-level applications
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
